On May 2nd, 2025, the annual Ed Levy Golf tournament took place at Bunker Hill Golf Course. The event had a fantastic turnout, with beautiful weather and a sold-out tournament. 288 golfers showed up throughout the day!
The event honored seven excellent recreation employees, pictured below: Rylee Sant’Angelo, Julia Ruditsky, Anna Boakye, Blythe Butler, and Luis Mercado (unable to attend Sidhya Sriram, and Brooke Tenet.) Each winner received a $2,000 scholarship prize towards their education. Each winner was rewarded for their dedication, their time, and effort to Recreation and contributing to creating a healthier campus and a better environment for the Rutgers community.
The Intramural Sports Team helped coordinate the event by gathering volunteers to make the event a success. Many Alumni also attended the event, allowing students and attendees to network with one another and build meaningful connections.
The event raised over $18,000, which serves as a fundraiser for future Ed Levy Scholarships! Overall, the event was a fun-filled day. Recreation would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed, and congratulate all of our incredible 2025 Ed Levy Scholarship winners.
