About Fitness & Wellness Classes

  • Group fitness/wellness classes are provided at the 4 campus recreation centers, free of charge to all users (students, faculty, staff, and recreation members).
  • The daily schedule can be viewed on RUREC2GO app. Please note, schedule is subject to change.
  • All classes are first come/first serve (reservations are not available). Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class to ensure your spot.
  • Equipment and mats are provided. We encourage all participants to clean equipment and mats, before and after use. Participants may bring a mat for personal use, if desired.
  • Classes are designed to accommodate all levels of fitness and experience. Modifications will be provided. Please speak with the instructor before class if you are new to the format.
  • All instructors are certified and there are certification and mentorship opportunities available on campus. If you are interested in becoming an instructor, please complete the following form and you will be contacted by our fitness/wellness program director.
  • We welcome any feedback about classes here.
  • Some classes will have a virtual Les Mills professional instructor and will be indicated as virtual on the schedule. Classes will be played on a large screen in the Indoor Cycle Studio at the Werblin Recreation Center.
  • On demand classes are available on the RUREC2GO app.
