2025 Recreation Staff Employee Recognition

Rutgers University– New Brunswick Recreation, wrapped up the academic year with a spirited Year-End Gathering at the historic College Avenue Gym. The event brought together more than 100 student staff members for an afternoon of celebration, including lively trivia games, a catered luncheon, and a special awards ceremony honoring outstanding achievements.

During the ceremony, 23 students from across various Recreation departments were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the health and wellness of the Rutgers community. These students, working alongside professional staff and peers played a vital role in advancing the mission of Rutgers Recreation.

Awards ranged from Employee of the Year to Instructional ExcellenceWellness Excellence, and Leadership Excellence, each highlighting the diverse talents and dedication these students brought to the department. Their efforts reflect the core values of Rutgers Recreation and have left a meaningful impact on campus life.
