12/6: Afrofit Fusion Workshop
11:30am-12:30pm, Cook/Douglass Recreation Center. Experience strengthening your body and mind while embracing the vibrant rhythm of Afrobeats Start with Pilates-inspired exercises to build core strength and mobility, followed by dynamic Afrobeats choreography that energizes and empowers. End with a restorative stretch to leave you feeling strong, confident, and refreshed. 12/7: Hiking at the Sourlands
9:00AM –3:30PM, Take a hike through the beautiful yet often overlooked Sourland's Mountain Preserve and discover this hidden wonder of the Garden State! 12/10: Twilight Yoga
5:00-6:00PM, College Ave Gym, Upper Gym. Revive, Relax, and Renew before the start of exams with this tranquil and serene yoga class appropriate for all levels of participants. The space will be glowing with soft white lights and flickering candles providing a calming atmosphere. 8:00-12:00PM, College Ave Gym. Join us for our annual 5K in which we collect toys for children in our community. Friday, 12/12 2:00-5:00PMEarly check in (drop off your toy, pick up your race bib and shirt. Race day check-in is 8:00-9:30am. Registration will close when we hit 3,250. Register here
1/9-1/16: Wilderness First Responder Certification

The definitive wilderness course in medical training, leadership, and critical thinking for outdoor, low-resource, and remote professionals and leaders. The Wilderness First Responder program is the ideal medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.
This course is scheduled for eight days of instructional and practice time. Upon successful completion, students will receive a Wilderness First Responder certification and certification of CPR taught to an equivalent health care provider level.
