3/31- 4/13: Spring Step Challenge

Being active can help boost your overall health and well-being, improve focus, and increase energy. Let REC help motivate you to be more active and thrive in the last few weeks of the semester.  The goal is to complete 52,500 Steps per week or 7,500 steps per day to be entered into raffles for $50 Amazon Gift Cards, Personal Training, or Massage Therapy. Log any amount of steps weekly to be entered into raffles for $25 Amazon Gift Cards.

4/9 Canoe Battleship

Teams of 4 will battle it against other teams to sink each other using buckets of water and better piloting their canoe. The way you win is simple: don't sink!

4/24 Bring Your Kids to Work Day

Rutgers Recreation and Rutgers Athletics invite the Rutgers Community to a kid-friendly, Rutgers-spirited event.  All programming is first come/first served. No registration is required. A Rutgers member with a valid ID must accompany the child to access the facility.
Time:  11:30-1:30 PM
Locations: College Ave Gym (main gym, annex, and Rock wall): Rock Climbing, giveaways, Games, photos with Sir Henry and the Rutgers dance/cheer team, and more. 
Sonny Werblin Recreation Center, Patio Pool:  Open Swim
Don't forget a towel and change of clothing.
 

4/25 Pride Pool Party 

A vibrant and inclusive event celebrating LGBTQ+ students and allies during GayPril. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with music, games, and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters community and connection. Join us to swim, socialize, or relax.

3/31-4/12 Graduate Student and Professional Student Appreciation Week 

The Office of Graduate Student Life collaborates with the Division of Student Affairs, the Graduate Student Association, and partners across the university to host various programs and opportunities to show appreciation for our graduate and professional students.  The events and initiatives below are recognized as part of the Rutgers Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week 2025 program coordinated through the Office of Graduate Student Life. Turn the Campus Teal

Turn the Campus Teal is an awareness campaign typically held in April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The initiative raises awareness about sexual violence, supports survivors, and promotes prevention efforts.  The color teal is the official color of sexual assault awareness, symbolizing support for survivors and advocacy for change.
