On Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, Rutgers Recreation staff came together to celebrate the end of the 2026 school year and acknowledge the 2026 Recreation Award recipients for their dedication to Recreation.
The celebration took place at the College Ave Gym and included an afternoon of catered food, fun games, a special ceremony honoring award winners, and a farewell to graduating seniors.
During the award ceremony, 21 incredible students received awards for their outstanding contributions to Recreation. The awards included Employee of the Year, Instructional Excellence, Leadership Excellence, and Wellness Excellence.
A Professional Staff member carefully selected each awarded student from their department who believed they deserved recognition for their hard work.
Recreation is grateful for the amazing students who put in time and effort to encourage health and wellness across campus while also balancing their academics.
