Rules for Most people performing jumping jacks simultaneously
- A qualified judge familiar with fitness exercise (i.e. personal trainer, gym owner) must be on hand to witness the attempt.
- A loud start and finish signal recognised by all participants must be used. Two experienced timekeepers (i.e. from a local athletics club) must time the attempt with stopwatches accurate to 0.01 seconds.
- All participants must start performing jumping jacks simultaneously.
- Participants must continue performing jumping jacks for a minimum of 1 minute. Anyone who does not participate fully during the 1 minute must be deducted from the final total. This must be done in order that the record is truly for the number of people participating rather than the number of people attending the event.
