Big brook is a unique site in New Jersey in that it contains large fossil beds. Going to big brook, we will bring trowels and sieves, and be panning for cretaceous shark teeth and marine fossils. Shoes that can get soaked and dirty are a must, be prepared to wade in the stream and get muddy! This hike will be about 3 miles of walking, and 1-2 miles of wading and finding a good spot.

Refund Policy:  Class fees are not refundable less than 7 days prior to the trip.  Refunds will NOT be issued to persons who are not properly prepared to participate or who arrive after the group leaves.
