Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a liaison to ensure the integration of Campus Recreation activities with corresponding financial and administration functions at the departmental and university levels. Prepares, proposes, and administers the annual operating and capital budget for all recreation centers. Oversees key department wide financial administrative processes such as, purchasing, payroll, and cash management. Analyzes and reviews financial data, prepares financial statements and reports for both internal and external purposes. Ensures security of funds received and disbursed by implementing and auditing procedures for proper controls and timely deposits/disbursements. Provide resolutions to a diverse range of inquiries consistent with an understanding of the mission, vision, and goals of the departmental unit and consistent with a comprehensive understanding of accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applicable regulations, and university policies.
